Google Wave Fizzles Out

It’s the era of social networks. The pace at which the virtual world is evolving is staggering and is marked by innovative developments that characterize the social networking panorama. But just as there have been developments, there have been shocking failures too. Because, trust me, the modern day netizens have a definite “taste” and know what they want.

GOOGLE WAVE --- NO MORE

The biggest surprise to have hit the social networking arena in the recent times is the failure of Google Wave. After over a year of struggle, garnering a small but loyal user base, Google has finally decided to give up on its pet project for the simple reason that it did not gather the volume of user adoption that they hoped it would. Further development for the services has been stopped. Google came out clean saying that it would continue to support Wave till the year end. Considering its open source nature its technology and data can be ported over to other services.

Wave always had to be in direct combat with the available number of collaborative platforms, competing with the popular services that they provide. Wave was intended to be a composite collaborative environment on the web incorporating live but saved multi-person chat along with state-of-the-art content sharing and editing services. The reasons for Google Wave’s downfall are being rumored to be its inability to actively compete with entrenched competitors such as IM and collaborative tools; this in spite of having an array of cutting-edge tools like a maverick way of communication on Android and iOS devices.

Multiple Google Accounts in single browser

Google has finally decided to introduce the characteristic of having access to two G-mail accounts once in the same browser. I'm really happy with the decision to have two Google GMAIL account in the same browser.

Has always amazed me why Google has not introduced these feature in time. But now it seems my problem has been solved - almost...

I have not always wanted to open the various browser to access various different Gmail accounts now been resolved by the internet giant GOOGLE.

I hope for his success in the future.
